Tameem joined the Bend Biomedical Board of Directors in 2022 and was recruited to the Board because of his Information Technology expertise. He is owner and CEO of Ensemble Technical Services in Orlando, Florida, USA. Before founding Ensemble, he was a computer professional at HTI (department head) and programmer at Quartet, LLC. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music (technology emphasis) from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, USA. A proud member of the Husky Marching Band, he later led the Husky Alumni Band. Tameem has an Arab background and an interest in Global Health of the Middle East. This interest includes eliminating trachoma and soil transmitted helminths, especially hookworm infections. He lives with his wife near Orlando.
