Dr. Kajari joined the Bend Biomedical Board of Advisors in 2021. She is Assistant Professor of Community Medicine at West Bengal University of Health Sciences in Kolkata, India. Kajari earned her MD at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. She has research interests in Neglected Tropical Diseases, community health programs, and maternal and child health. She was a coauthor with Dr. Sitikantha on, “Coverage of mass drug administration for elimination of lymphatic filariasis in urban Nagpur, Central India: A mixed method study.” This study presented several reasons for non-consumption of preventive chemotherapy for lymphatic filariasis in a slum area of India. We have plans to hire her on our Hindi packaging projects and to help with our blister-packaging papers. She lives with her family in Kolkata, India.
