Bedan Gichanga, M.D., M.B.A.

Board of Directors

Dr. Bedan joined the Bend Biomedical Board of Advisors in 2021. Bedan holds an M.D. from the University of Nairobi (medicine and surgery), and an M.B.A. in the Health Administration track from Keele University. As a global health expert, he has worked as a specialist and advisor for over 15 years with the United States Agency for International Development primarily in Namibia and Kenya. He has lived and worked in Kenya, Namibia, and Tanzania, with work spells in Rwanda, Zambia, South Africa, Ethiopia, and Ghana. He’s a big-picture thinker and project leader in international development, and Bend Biomedical is very fortunate to have him on the team. We have plans to hire him on our Swahili packaging projects.
