Board of Advisors
RuthAnn Sapinsky, B.S.N., is a valued member of the Bend Biomedical Board of Advisors since 2022. With a diverse background in nursing and laboratory experience, RuthAnn brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our nonprofit global health company.
RuthAnn’s nursing journey spans 16 years, beginning as an emergency room nurse before transitioning to roles as a telemetry nurse and eventually a medical/surgical nurse. Her experience in various clinical settings has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of patient care across different specialties.
In addition to her nursing experience, RuthAnn has valuable laboratory experience with renowned institutions such as the American Red Cross and the Oregon Health & Science University immunogenetics lab.
RuthAnn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in medical technology from Eastern Washington University. She furthered her education by earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Great Falls, Montana, further solidifying her expertise in patient care and nursing practices.
When she is not working, RuthAnn enjoys engaging in activities that promote physical and mental well-being. She finds solace in practicing yoga, honing her boxing skills, and exploring the great outdoors through hiking.
