Over 500 million people are afflicted by one or more of our target diseases.
Leave an indelible mark on the landscape of tomorrow.

Bend Biomedical is transforming global health by ensuring that life-saving medicines reach the people who need them most.
It’s true; over 500 million people worldwide suffer from preventable and treatable diseases, yet millions remain at risk due to lack of access to quality medicine. Children are disproportionately affected, with devastating consequences for their health, development, and future.
We are on a mission to close this gap by:
1. Manufacturing Essential Medicines in Short Supply
We produce high-quality, essential medicines like albendazole (for parasitic infections) and high-dose vitamin A (to prevent blindness and improve immune function). These medicines are crucial for mass drug administration programs that protect millions of lives.
2. Creating Better Packaging for Safer Distribution
Our packaging goes beyond conventional standards to ensure safety and trust. We use:
- Child-resistant, tamper-evident, and eco-friendly materials
- Instructions that are clear and easy to understand in the correct language
By prioritizing safety and comprehension, we reduce the risk of misuse and ensure treatments are effective.
3. Restoring Trust in Medicine Through Quality and Transparency
Counterfeit drugs and poor-quality treatments have eroded trust in many communities. We provide reliable, high-quality medicines that meet rigorous safety and efficacy standards, giving families and communities the confidence they deserve.
4. Addressing Neglected Populations with Targeted Solutions
We focus on delivering treatments to underserved populations in low- and middle-income countries, where quality medicine is often out of reach. By focusing on diseases that disproportionately impact these communities, we create lasting impact where it’s needed most.
Why It Matters
Every $25 donated provides over 450 doses of medicine, dramatically improving health outcomes and economic productivity in vulnerable communities. Yet despite our proven impact, we remain underfunded after five years—relying primarily on one-time donations to continue our critical work.
At Bend Biomedical, we believe everyone deserves access to safe, effective medicine. Period.
