Board of Directors
Neil Armstrong Dial, J.D., joined Bend Biomedical’s Board of Directors in 2021, eager to support its mission of improving health outcomes for neglected populations around the world. With a passion for guiding impactful organizations, Neil brings his legal acumen and a strong sense of purpose to his role, helping shape Bend Biomedical’s strategies for expanding access to quality medicines and healthcare.
Neil’s life is uniquely tied to a significant moment in history—he was born on July 20, 1969, at 1:17 p.m. in Seattle, the exact minute that Apollo 11’s Lunar Module, Eagle, landed on the moon. This remarkable timing led his parents to name him after astronaut Neil Armstrong, a connection that garnered both local and national media attention. Years later, he had the memorable opportunity to meet Neil Armstrong, an experience that highlighted his symbolic link to the historic moon landing.
Professionally, Neil is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in complex commercial and real estate litigation. He began his legal career at Foster Pepper PLLC in Seattle after earning his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Washington School of Law in 1999. Neil later joined Eisenhower Carlson PLLC in Tacoma, where he currently serves as the Litigation Group Leader. His practice covers a broad range of legal areas, including class-action and individual litigation on consumer protection, lender liability, intellectual property, employment, and insurance matters. His commitment to the legal field extends beyond his practice; he is active in the legal community and has been recognized for his pro bono service by Seattle University School of Law.
Outside of work, Neil enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, and exploring the art of video editing. Fluent in Italian, he also has a love for travel, which aligns well with his global outlook and commitment to supporting health initiatives worldwide. His unique background and dedication to service make him a valuable asset to Bend Biomedical’s leadership team.
