Board of Directors

Stephanie Carlson joined the Bend Biomedical Board of Directors in 2024, bringing over a decade of experience in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. With a proven track record in program management, engineering, and process improvement, she is passionate about advancing healthcare technologies that improve patient outcomes. Currently, Stephanie serves as Client Services Manager at One Tree Accounting, where she leverages her organizational and strategic skills to support diverse client needs.

Before her current role, Stephanie held key positions at I-Flow Corporation, where she contributed to developing innovative drug delivery systems for post-surgical pain relief and surgical site care. As Senior R&D Program Manager, she oversaw critical projects, managing timelines and cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches. Her earlier roles at I-Flow included R&D Program Manager and Project Engineer, where she gained hands-on experience designing and implementing technically advanced medical solutions.

Stephanie also worked as a Project Engineer at Teva Pharmaceuticals, one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies. During her tenure, she contributed to developing and optimizing products across various therapeutic areas, supporting Teva’s mission to improve lives through accessible and innovative medicines. Her industry expertise and commitment to quality make her a valuable asset to Bend Biomedical as the organization focuses on delivering essential medicines to underserved populations.

Stephanie earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from California State University, Long Beach, where she was active in Tau Beta Pi and the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES). She also pursued studies in Biomedical Engineering at Arizona State University. Her technical background, leadership experience, and dedication to improving healthcare access align with Bend Biomedical’s mission to address global health challenges with innovative solutions.
