Board of Advisors

Dr. Kajari Bandyopadhyay, MD, has been a member of the Bend Biomedical Board of Advisors since 2021. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Community Medicine at West Bengal University of Health Sciences, located in Kolkata, India. Dr. Kajari obtained her MD degree from All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.

With a strong focus on research, Dr. Kajari has developed a keen interest in Neglected Tropical Diseases, community health programs, and maternal and child health. She has collaborated as a coauthor with Dr. Sitikantha on the study titled “Coverage of mass drug administration for elimination of lymphatic filariasis in urban Nagpur, Central India: A mixed method study.” This research shed light on the reasons behind non-consumption of preventive chemotherapy for lymphatic filariasis in a slum area of India, offering valuable insights for disease elimination efforts.

At our nonprofit global health company, we are eager to utilize Dr. Kajari’s expertise in our Hindi packaging projects and engage her assistance in our blister-packaging research.
