Intern
Raven is our on-and-off “volunteer” research intern and has become a valued member of our team since we started in 2019. Currently pursuing her pre-nursing studies, Raven’s passion for healthcare and compassionate nature have shaped her professional journey.
With a wealth of experience as an assisted living caregiver, Raven has developed a deep understanding of providing quality care to individuals in need. Her most recent focus has been in memory care, where she has honed her skills in supporting those with cognitive impairments. Raven’s dedication to making a difference extends beyond her professional work, as she has actively volunteered with disabled children and the elderly.
Raven’s volunteer efforts include working with esteemed organizations such as the Little Sisters of the Poor, St. Joseph Home for the Aged, Cottolengo Filipino, and Mother of Divine Providence. Through these experiences, she has further developed her capacity to provide empathetic care and support to vulnerable populations.
In addition to her practical experience, Raven has pursued formal coursework in secondary education and obtained certifications as a Certified Nursing Assistant and midwife. These qualifications enhance her knowledge and skills in healthcare, positioning her as a valuable asset to Bend Biomedical’s mission.
We are happy to have Raven as part of our nonprofit global health company. Her enthusiasm is welcomed. Her dedication, diverse experience, and commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others align perfectly with our goals. Together, we strive to advance global health initiatives and create a world where healthcare is accessible to all, ensuring the well-being and dignity of every individual.
