Valerie Fauvelle, M.S., has been a distinguished member of the Bend Biomedical Board of Advisors since 2023. Valerie’s expertise and passion for global health make her an invaluable asset to our nonprofit organization.
Valerie holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Washington, which serves as the foundation for her understanding of human behavior and its intersection with healthcare. She further expanded her knowledge by obtaining an M.S. in Clinical Research Administration from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. This comprehensive educational background equips Valerie with the skills necessary to navigate the complex landscape of global health initiatives.
With over 20 years of experience in regulatory affairs, Valerie has made significant contributions to the field. Notably, she has held pivotal roles as VP and SVP for Regulatory Affairs at Chinook Therapeutics, Inc., where she played an important role in ensuring regulatory compliance and facilitating the development of innovative therapies.
Valerie’s interests lie in addressing the needs of neglected populations, particularly in the realm of infectious diseases. Her commitment to global health reflects her deep empathy and dedication to improving the lives of those affected by such health disparities.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Valerie resides in Washington state with her husband and two sons. Her supportive family provides the foundation for her drive and passion to make a positive impact with Bend Biomedical.
